Palma Nova in Mallorca.
Palma Nova in Mallorca is a town that is one of those I like to return to. It is located in the south west of Mallorca, next to places like Magaluf, Santa Ponsa, Peguera and also close to the capital Palma. In Palma Nova you can enjoy good food, party in the clubs, enjoy the many water activities or cruises and most importantly enjoy the beautiful beaches it offers.
Public transport is very well organised here and for a small price we can drive to the capital or places such as party Magaluf, the beautiful Costa de la Calma or the coast on the bay of Cala Comtesa. There is a choice to colour. Here you can not get bored. In my opinion, a good option is to rent bikes and ride along the coast. It will not take much time and you can then see many beautiful places. I would also recommend renting a car because, being on the west side of the island, it’s a shame not to use this area – Valldemossa, Deia, Banyalbufar, Sa Foradada and many more…
Beaches in Palma Nova in Mallorca
Palma Nova in Mallorca offers up to three sandy beaches. Platja de Son Maties, Playa de Palmanova, Playa Porto Novo. And also, walking a little further along the promenade up to the harbour, you can reach a beautiful area with several lovely bays, which I highly recommend. Being in this town, you can beach in a different place every day during your holiday. The water is crystal clear and the beaches are protected and with toilets. On the main beach of Palmanova there is a restaurant – Chiringuito I. I highly recommend this place, I often use it myself. The Mcdonalds located centrally in the corner of the beach is also a big plus for this beach.
This town is famous for the fact that a lot of beach volleyball lovers come here. Every weekend (even after the season) dozens of people willing to play come there. Several nets are laid out and emotions reach their zenith. It is also an ideal place for all kinds of water sports. Skiing and jet skis are an everyday sight here.
I highly recommend you to visit this place during your holidays. You will find here everything your heart desires. I come here at least once a week and I always like to come back!
